PDP National Working Committee Sets Up Screening Committee for Ondo Gubernatorial Primary
The Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has established a special committee to conduct the screening of aspirants ahead of the governorship primary election in Ondo State.
According to a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, on Saturday, the screening exercise is slated to occur at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza in Abuja, next Wednesday.
Ologunagba urged all PDP governorship aspirants, critical stakeholders, leaders, and party members to take note of the date and prepare accordingly.

Former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Sam Egwu, will serve as the chairman of the screening committee, with Chief Rahman Owokoniran, the PDP Zonal Secretary for the South West, acting as the secretary.
The committee includes three female members: Mrs. Olivia Dazyman, Ambassador Gladys Ashemuke, and Ms. Caroline Akinsete, who serves as the Administrative Secretary. Additional members of the screening committee are Senator Isa Shuaibu Lau, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, and Mr. Tanko Beji.
